remove the card and put it back into the camera. The card should spring when inserted into the camera. When it springs, it means it is inserted correctly. So add more force and it will key into the camera.
Now if the camera does not recognize the presence of the card, insert the card into another device or computer in order to confirm if the card is good. Also, insert another card into the camera, to know if the card reader of the camera is function properly. The out come of these test will determine where the problem is coming from.
Blow some air into the card slot of the camera in order to discard debris or dust that may be disturbing the card from contacting the camera very well.
Lastly, if you feel the card is not inserted correctly, remove the card and fit it into the camera, the other way round. It should seat correctly by then. Also,don't forget the that card will kind of spring when inserting it into the camera. This is a sign that it is being inserted correctly.

I hear Cuddyback makes a good camera. Moultree can't seem to keep theirs working and don't care if they work.

It only has 32megabytes of capacity built in. It may be full. If you added an SD card for more memory, it likely needs to be formatted for the camera; Especially if you had used the card on a different camera previously.Clear the memory, and/or format and you should have it working fine.You can check the overall function of the camera portion by hooking it up to the TV with the cable.
