A Broken front ring which blocks the lock bolt ? Is there enough lubrication flow if something is broken inside replace ALLWAYS a complete servicekit , because its , beware of the Turmopol oil is expensive. there are equivalent oils if you asked special for it also by Hilti to buy. Hilti and Duss are not the 2 cheapest brands of powertools. Special Tolerance-free bearings are used it is all super calculated on a number of operating hours and about if something is defective, a complete overhaul is necessary. These hammers may leak no trace of oil in the front until 2006 HILTI has in my Country support , but after this date exclusively support to the end-users and support closed for brokering.

you can go to Hilti direct or find a local dealer by going to "hilti.com" or calling them at 1-800-879-8000 and you can get the replacement. I would not try another switch.
