Jackson Rhoads RR3 Guitar Electric Questions & Answers
My RR3 Jackson Guitar has corrupt sound.
It may be the nylon strings are not compatible with your pickup. The pickups rely on varying magnetic fields from the strings to produce the sound- nylon is not magnetic unless doped with a ferrous material.Either find doped strings, find a way to dope them or switch back to steel. You can check the pickups themselves indirectly with a soldering gun or tape head demagnetizer held close to them- you will hear the line frequency quite well if the pickup is working.
