If you cant remove the virus you have got, its often because your drive has been infected to a degree where qiping it for virus's is futile.
If thats the case, format your drive by booting your pc up with a windows install dvd in the drive, selecting the option to format C-drive before installing new operating system on the unit.

Most likely you Boot-section of your harddrive has been infected and therefore, everytime you boot your pc the virus loads as the first thing during start up of windows and drivers and so forth.

You might have another antivirus interfering with AVG

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart

you might only tick in one box to automatically fix files
have no input while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may further damage your computers Operating System and Hard Drive http://download.cnet.com/jetclean/3000-18512_4-75627788.html JetClean tidies your registry, gets rid of junk files, deletes broken shortcuts, and attempts to give your computer that like-new feel again.

Then reinstall your copy of AVG
Hope this helps

Restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer
Reboot the computer As the computer is booting repeatadly press the F8 key as the computer is booting If done properly the user should get to a screen similar to the below screen. Select the option for Safe mode command prompt only Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option: Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
Debugging Mode Start Windows Normally
Reboot
Return to OS Choices Menu Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice select the safe mode option then run your antivirus if still cant get rid of the virus restart again Use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to your choice. select safe mode with networking download anti malware and microsoft security essentials http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/virus-malware.aspx?q=virus anti virus and malware http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials

Can't give you a key, because each person has their own key. You have to PAY for your own key!

I would just format the computer and put a new operating system on it. Do you have the installation CD for your computer ? Seems like you have a nasty virus, I would format all my computers, better safe than sorry, you could battle this thing out for years or just go hardcore with it.

Good luck

Usually for those AVG products purchased from a reseller or a retailer it would only have some sort of a temporary license number that can be converted into Full license once the user register the subscription on AVG website and Activate the product. If this product came with a box, look for something that says SALES NUMBER, this would serve are your temporary license and can be use during installation. After that, register your product @ http://www.avg.com/us-en/registration.

Boot in Safe Mode and do the uninstall from there - in normal mode the autoprotection is active and prevents all attempts to change the files of the program. and you can't disable that without extensive modifications of the settings . In Safe Mode the program is inactive so the autoprotection is off.

Hello,
First you can try by disable AVG temporarily to see if you can access both at the same time. If you can, then we need to focus on AVG setting. However, I think the issue is with port forwarding in router. It is because you can access one but not both, that means port 5900 is always good in AVG. Just try disable AVG to see first
Also make sure that you have port 5900 open as exception list on personal firewall on those 2 pcs.

Second, you want to make sure port forwarding is good in router
Log on Linksys wrt54g, go to applications and gaming, and port range forward make sure you have 2 (two) entries in there (one for each PCs) it requires static IP of each PC in there and make sure they are enabled.
Let me know and we can continue.
Thanks
