Have him check power suply link, from fuse to wall plug, theres a short some where between the plug and the fuse.

Don't buy computers with Windoze Vista on them, go to your local shop and get them to build you one with XP on it. XP will be around for a long time at least to 2014. Vista is junk, always will be.

'm not technical so please bare with my terminology. There is an area soldered from the knob to the LCD Screen. Don't make the same mistake I did and turn it so much it breaks completely loose and connection is totally lost == my the knob fell down inside the machine. Sears said it would cost me $400 to fix because they would have to replace the whole LCD Screen. Turn your knob to where you get the best light and try taping it to the top or side of the sewing machine-- then don't touch it. Otherwise it will be costly to get fixed. Good luck

Ensure that you have set the fabric properly on the machine.

Take the embroidery hoop and place the fabric into the hoop, securing the fabric and stabilizer with the metal clasp. Set these aside, and load the embroidery thread onto the sewing machine. Press the embroidery button on the machine; it is the second button from the top. The machine will set itself up for embroidery mode.

Attach the P foot that came with your machine, and then attach the embroidery hoops with fabric still inside the sewing machine. Turn the knob on the embroidery hoop to your right until you here it click in place.

Buy tear away or water soluble stabilizer for easy, mess-free designs.

Are you talking about the Embroidery Data Reader/Writer R/W 19000 that you can create embroidery designs off of your computer. If so I have one that has not been out of the box and I am willing to sell.

It will only work with windows 95 systems

I was informed there was no patch. The software was formated for windows 95 and will only work with that software. you can pick up a computer for less than 100 with that old windows system-- that is what I did.

to recalibrate the machine press the stop/start; the reverse; and the knot button at the same time and while holding it down turn the machine on.

White on top means that the top tension isn't right some how. Now that can be because it wasn't threaded properly with the foot in the up position... or it could mean that you've got the little thread catcher **** on your spool catching the thread and causing problems. Sometimes if it catches it will wind a few layers of thread around the thread spindle the spools sits on. That isn't readily notice until you get mad and pull the spool off.... and finally see it. LOL Carefully examine the path of the upper thread too. Good luck.
