Simon XT "system low battery"
IT might be testing ok, but you need to load test it. It could be the charging circuit but in most cases the battery will show a surface charge that is ok for a short period of time.

AC Power Failure
Providing that you the outlet is putting out proper voltage, check the voltage output of the plug in transformer. Used a voltmeter set to AC and attach the leads under the plug in transformer (where the wire normally go) and plug back into the outlet. The voltmeter should be reading around 9 volts AC. If there is no a low or no reading, you have a bad plug in transformer. It can be replaced with a 9 volt AC 25 volt amp transformer. Battery may also have to be replaced, if it is depleted. If this does not fix the problem, you have a bad panel and it will need to be replaced.

System says low battery ... how do I open it to
There are two tabs (and possibly a screw) on the top of the Simon XT panel. Remove srew (if installed) and press the two tabs, pulling forward. Front part of panel is hinged and will rock forward. Battery is located behind front half. It is a 6 volt 1.2 Amp Hour lead acid battery. You must completely downpower the Simon XT (wall plug in and battery) then replace with new battery first, then reconnect wall power. Close the front panel and snap it closedand replace the screw (if it was installed). You will need to set the time on the panel, following the instructions in the users manual.

How to rewire phone line away from the security system
If you open the panel (two tabs and possibly a screw on top) you have access to the back of the top portion. There should be a phone jack on the back with a plug inserted into it. DO NOT pull this plug yet! Trace the wire from the plug (either into the wall or down the wall) to a tan phone jack. Disconnect the plug from this end instead of the panel end and that should re-route your phones away from the house lines.

Motion detector is not working for GE INTERLOGICX 60-806-95R
All wireless security motions have a 3 min delay built into them. This means that whether the alarm is set or not when the motion detector picks up motion it shuts down for 3 min and will not pick up motion. This is done to conserve battery power. So I always advise customers to arm the system and stay away from the motion for 3 min total. example: 60 sec to arm system + 2min wait time. then try to trigger motion. If this does not help and assuming batteries are good, you'll need to replace motion. Good luck. This may help https://al.ly/vR54zP

How to reset the combination, GE Hide a Key
Step 1. With the cap closed, set the numbered dials to the combination line. The factory preset combination is "000".
Step 2. While maintaining the combination in place,
rotate the "RESET" dial indicator beneath the letters approximately 90
degrees to line-up with the combination line. If the correct combination
is not set, the "RESET" dial will not rotate.
Note: Using excessive force can damage the dials.
Step 3. Set the new combination while maintaining the position of the "RESET" dial.
Step 4. While maintaining the combination in place,
rotate the "RESET" dial back to the original position. The combination
has been changed.
