first, you might want to check your speakers and speaker wires to make sure you have no grounds, shorts or bare wires. if they all check out, the output ic is located behind the big heat sink (an aluminum piece of metal with fins) on the back of the deck.

CD WON'T PLAY THE NUMBERS
it sounds like you are using an amplifier. if so, make sure you are using the blue/white wire to turn the amp on instead of the blue wire. the blue wire is antenna remote and turns off when leaving tuner mode. the blue/white wire is amp remote.
I am just wondering how
Find the fusebox, then the one marked ACC (accessories, this way it can run with the key turned backwards as well like all radios would). Pull the fuse and test for power. On the side with no power is where you want to install the CD's power wire. Ground the ground wire somewhere firmly. Reinstall the fuse and turn the key backwards and it should run.
Doesn't it have an instruction manual?
The reason I ask is some can be very different. Some you hook to the power and they have a wire (mine was orange) which says to hook to the accessories.
The rest will be speaker wires. Just keep them phase matched.
Radio memory/presets
you need to have the yellow wire going to a constant power source for the radio to retain memory when the key is off.
I cannot figure out how to change my aux settings
try this
Setting the AUX Mode (V-Link)
AUX IN ON / AUX IN OFF (Initial setting)
You can input TV/video sound by connecting an optional Ai-NET/
RCA Interface cable (KCA-121B) or Versatile Link Terminal (KCA-
410C) to this component.
You can change the AUX name display when AUX ON is set. Select
the AUX name by pressing g or f. Then press BAND.
If the KCA-410C is connected, it is possible to select two AUX
names.
• Via KCA-410C, up to 2 external devices with RCA output can be
connected. In this case, press SOURCE/POWER to select AUX
mode and then press BAND to select your desired device.
I cannot figure out how to change the clock! Help
From the manual...
Setting Time
1 In the Clock priority mode, press and hold TITLE for at least 2 seconds while the time is displayed. The time indication will blink.
2 Turn the Rotary encoder to adjust the hours while the time indication is blinking.
3 When the hour has been adjusted, press the Rotary encoder.
4 Turn the Rotary encoder to adjust the minutes while the time indication is blinking. The time is automatically set 5 seconds after the minute adjustment. The time can also be manually set by pressing the Rotary encoder.
• To synchronize the clock to another clock/watch or radio time announcement, press and hold the Rotary encoder for at least 2 seconds after setting the “hour.” Minutes will reset to 00. If the display shows over “30” minutes when you do this, the time will advance one hour.
