ViewSonic N2750w 27 in. HD-Ready LCD Television - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Screen changes colors only
Hold the Vol+ Vol- buttons down and turn on the power switch in the back of the unit.
The screen should turn blue and some square in the middle of it.
The noisy square is actually the bios being reset.
Once the unit turns itself off, you can turn it back as usual.
Note: Some of these units require a 3 button reset.
In that case hold Vol+ Vol- and Menu at the same time while you turn the power switch on in the back of the set.
I hope it was helpful.

how old isw this set, get a flash light and point it at the screen look very carefully and see if you can see a pic if so then open it up you have a small pico fuse going to your lcd screen replace and that should fix it good luck
I have a VS10576-1M and
If they are static and not moving, kida look like someone took a thin magic marker and a ruler and drew a straight line across the screen, then it is the panel and the cost of repair would be prohibitive.
I have 2 ViewSonic N2750w and and they both have black screens
i have repaired several n3750w viewsonics .. that may be similar to the 2750 .. in my case all the failures were caused by the same faulty part in the power supply .. the power supply has a 48 volt supply at about 7 amps .. the design uses a syncronous rectifier .. these are normally not used in supplies with that high a voltage out .. syncronous rectifiers make sense when the output voltage is low .. like 3 or 5 volts .. the parts are designed for that range .. but in this supply an IC is over stressed and fails frequently .. you might hear a chirping sound as the supply cycles thru an overload condition .. i modified the power supply to eliminate the syncronous rectifier and replaced it with a single shottky diode .. dissapation goes up slightly but reliability goes up a lot .. i have written an article on this. if anyone needs it i will try to find it . ..

Viewsonic N2750W...wheres the inverter?
I'd say it's more than likely built into the power supply on this model, take the back off, the inverter plugs into the back of the panel on both the left and right, if not, you can take photos of it with the back off and send it to me and I'll identify it for you
A grey square in the top left corner
This TV dose have PIP (Picture in Picture), Press the PIP button on the remote and see what happens. If fail then I would recommend to call Viewsonic.
