Please scan channels

try hitting the input button or go to channel 3. the sat box can only output to channel 3 or 4 or if using Dish network try channel 66 or what ever the channel it outputs. it also can output via video cables so check each video setting on the set. make sure the box is on first.

Remote controle code

There are some codes for Viewsonic tv's but apparently it's really hard to program and the codes even change. I read somewhere once that the best way to program it is to try with those really expensive remotes that can program everything, but you will need to contact viewsonic for the software to upload to that remote.

Greenish tint

First of all component inputs are analog as the only digital inputs are the DVI or HDMI inputs on a TV. You might have color adjutments in the menus somewhere that allow you to compensate for color weakness on one or more colors. If not you most likely have a bad digital board.

Does anyone have a manual for a Viewsonic Remote RC00315P?

Full instructions and codes here. For what it's worth, no one buys universal remotes these days, you buy a facsimile remote which is an exact copy for the television model you have. www.remotes.com. https://universalremote.codes/viewsonic-tv/ ..

Tune my viewsonic n3246w tv

First make sure that the current input Source is set to TV to see the option for scanning for channels. There is a Source button on the front of the TV. (It's on the right side as you look at the front of the TV.) The Source button on the original remote is on the left side below the number keys. There are two RF (coaxial) cable inputs near the VGA port on the back of the TV. The digital RF signal needs to go to the port above the VGA port. To scan for analog channels, press the Menu button. Then navigate to the TV setup option with the Up/Down arrows. Press OK to enter the menu. You can use either the Auto search or the Manual search. However, the Auto will be faster. You can set your country or leave it to Auto. Navigate to Start and press OK for the Auto-scan. There is a DTV menu button above the Volume + button on the remote. Use this menu and look for the Installation section to scan for channels. Again there is an Auto or Manual option. ManualsLib has the manual for the Viewsonic N3246W here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/306714/Viewsonic-N3246w.html. See page 23 for the start of the analog TV channel scan information. See page 30 for the digital TV scan. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells (For any channel provided by a set-top box, you will not be able to use the TV to store the channel lists.)

I have a Viewsonic TV N2201W LCD TV Model # VS12247-1M Serial # R2**********, when I turn it off a box comes up Power Lock and my TV won't shut off. Does anyone has such problem. Please help

Some Viewsonic monitors have a Power Lock feature. However, these tend to be on the monitors (like the Viewsonic VA2265Smh) with only 5 control buttons. To toggle off the power lock, press and hold the button labeled 1 (Menu/Save/Exit) and the down arrow button for 10 seconds. The N2201W TV has more buttons than that. There is no Power Lock identified in my Viewsonic TV manuals. However, you might try the press and hold Menu/Down arrow combination. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
