Toshiba CRT TV has no sound at all.

The inbuild speakers are faulty or the the supply voltage is missing to the audio amplifiers or the audio IC is no longer work anymore or the capacitors inside of the TV are now bad. You could buy another CRT TV or get the one that has no sound repaired from someone that fixes TVs.

Toshiba TV won't turn off

If your comfortable doing it remove the back and unhook the connector from the inferred sensor board, then try to turn the set on with the buttons on the set and shut it off again, if it works ok then that board is bad, if you still have the issue replace the main board

Toshiba 32A33

Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Otherwise, it won't go. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Before replacing it, try a reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.

TV clicks on then off quickly... then red light blinks

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://homenol.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

I HAVE A 32A41 TOSHIBA TV, THE SERIAL NUMBER IS

We would be happy to help get that fixed right away. Theissue that you are having sounds like it is affecting the TV that is closest toyour receiver; we call it your TV1. The first thing we want to ensure is thatall connected equipment is on. Check what type of cable is used to connect theTV to the receiver. If you are using a Coax Cable to connect the receiver toTV1, check the receiver's back panel for the output name. If your receiver hasa "TV CH 3/4 Out" (non-ViP Receiver): Tune TV to channel 3 or channel4, back if it is labeled "Home Distribution" (ViP Receiver):Tune TV to channel 62 or 75. If using non-Coax (RCA, Component, or HDMI) toconnect receiver to TV1, cycle through the inputs until picture appears; MostTVs have a "TV/Video", "Input", or "Source"button. We want to ensure that the TV and the receiver are connected properly, please visit this link to for more information:http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/setup-receiver-totv. Once we havemade sure everything is connected properly, unplug receiver for 10 seconds thenplug it back in, this will reset the receiver. If we are still not getting apicture connect another component (VCR, DVD Player, etc.) to the same TV, usingsame cable, same input, and same channel to see if it works. If you get apicture with the other component give us a call at 1-800-333-DISH (3474) forsome additional troubleshooting. If it doesn't work with the other componentthen replace the cable that was used.

We hope these steps resolve the issue. We want to thank you for being a valuedDISH Network customer!

Can i fix picture size without remote using menu on tv

You should have a remote control to select the aspect ratio to picture. To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have. Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Type in the "brand name" of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and press Enter. It will make surf easy.
