check for the following:-.
1--the power cord may be disconnected.
2--main power switch is turned off.
3---no voltage(electricity)in wall outlet.
4-the lamp cover has not securely closed.
5--check for blown power fuse and change it with the same rate.

Does the machine say replace drum or toner. Two different units. If toner did refill or install a new toner. There is a chip on most drums and toner to tell the machine they are new. if you refill the toner the chip is still going to tell the machine it is used.

Check the draw one tray. Ensure paper is properly installed and check behind the draw as well

Print Head issue, was it replaced recently ensure it was connected properly, Print head houses the LASER that puts the image on the drum!

Well if there is a Electronic chip on the cartridge then refilling will do nothing as the chip tells the copier its empty unless the chip change refill will not help.
