Hi Kevin, You're going to have to work at this one! Firstly determine what language it's set to now. If it's a modern European one you can probably muddle through. If it's more exotic it's going to be more difficult for you. Find and open the 'settings' icon on the desktop. The language options are usually in the 'personal' area. You'll just have to use trial and error to find it. However, if you know someone who owns the same make of tablet, ask them to do the above (but they'll know what they're doing) and get them to describe what they're doing so that you can repeat it.

Not sure about Evant, but my daughters Android had the same problem Start > Settings > Language 'A' > English is usually the first on the list

Have you made any changes to router? If no, disconnect it, turn off tablet keep them for a minute then turn back on. If that doesn't help I'd suggest to factory reset tablet.

Just make a factory data reset. To reset you tablet manually. you have to 1)switch of your tablet 2)hold volume down button and power button at the same time. 3)wait for 10 sec and you will enter into boot menu. 4)there in the boot menu you will find option named Reset factory default settings/reset user data. select that option 5) wait for resetting...... 6)cheers your done.

"rom"? What exactly are you trying to do? Are you referring to ROM as part of the tablet's memory? If yes, you probably will not be able to do it. ROM is a memory chip built onto the circuit board itself inside the tablet. You would need to completely dismantle the tablet to do it. Most tablets are not built to be taken apart for repairs.
