If it runs with the charger plugged in it probably means your battery won't hold a charge and needs to be replaced.

You have to watch that the buttons don't fall out of place when you open it. So use a strip of masking tape to hold them in place before you open the case. To open the tablet it snaps in all around. You need to insert a small screw driver between the case edge and another small screwdriver to keep prying all the way around. You can hear it when it snaps open. You may need the point of a small sharp knife first. I have opened and closed mine to get the battery number. I will be replacing mine as well. You need to solder the new battery in.

It works for most tablets. 1 turn off the tablet 2 press and hold the power button and keep tapping the volume down button at the same time. 3 it should take you to recovery screen. Now, use the micro usb cable that came with your tablet and connect one end on your tablet first, leave the computer end open for now. Find the small pinhole next to your tablet`s usb port and use a small pin to press it, while plugging the cable to your computer. Your PC should now say finding a new USB device. From the list, select iRockusbDriver from the folder to install the driver. From here, run the RKbatchTookl.exe file that was extracted.
