Disconnect the DVD and see whether it is working. Also see whether any jack is plugeed in the headphone socket.

Unplug the TV, ensure the lamp door is installed and the screw is snug. Plug the TV in and wait a moment. touch and hold your finger on the power button on the front of the TV. If your TV does not power up, your ballast and power supply should be suspect. Many Toshiba DLP sets use a similar lamp design. They have been known to burst and cause a momentary short. This can knock out the power circuits which feed the lamp. If this is the case, post back for further details if you wish to repair this yourself. I hope this was of some assistance.

It the tv,not the DVR box,DVR box dosen't control brightness of the tv.Ur light egine might have problems this time.

there is currently a bug with HDMI when you try to run it from comcast box to a tv or through something to a tv. its thinking that you're trying to copy something...but in actuallity you're not. comcast knows of this problem and they are trying to make new boxes to fix it.

y,pb,pr are component cables. the red/blue/green cables that are digital to analog to digital, but will still give you a great picture.

if your using a HDMI cable and have comcast service call comcast and have them bring you a new red/blue/green cable. They may play stupid but don't let them leave without changing cables.

Have the input signal board replaced. Might try also replacing the digital board assembly.

No it your lamp has failed this time. Replace it and you should be enjoying ur television again.
The pop sound was the lamp shattering in its housing, does'nt get into the television tho. You can save money by just buying the bulb and installing it into your original lamp housing.

Have the audio signal board replaced. Also make sure ur amplifier is set to the correft output, alth i am sure u have.

Have microprocessor small signal board replaced.

Have the tuner signal board replaced. HDMI does not use the regular tuner bands, it is bypassed when using hd inputs.

Hello Remove the front Bezel and youwill find 4 more screws to remove and the screen will come off. you should have about 16 screws in total. 12 on the back and 4 from lower front. the bezel looks like a long strip in bottom of front right beneath the toshiba symbol.

The board that contains the HDMI inputs must be replaced.
