Try the following
1-unplug tv
2-remove bottom cover on tv
3-tap the power supply frame a few times (where the power cord enters the tv)
I had the blinking red light on my tv. I tried other solutions like removing the red wire a few times etc. Tapping the power supply frame solve the problem.

Sounds like a bad power supply.

The most common reason for this is one of the two convergence chips, most likely are STK-392-110 is shorted.What I do in this case is get at the chips and unsolder all pins (each has 18) on both chips and try to power set up.If set should come on it will look bad but you will KNOW one of the two chips is the problem (under 15 for a pair) and both should be replaced at same time.If you reach that point and need advice or help let me know--have repaired nearly 1,000 sets with this problem in my time.

The model indicated here should only have a red power button, Please confirm actual brand and MODEL number.

Hi,
Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I had the same problem after replacing several things and still having same problem, it ended up being a capacitor.

A standard computer cord or monitor cord should work for your set.

hello if you take the back off look on the power supply board you should see a plastic whites clip with 2 pins coming off it or possible 3 just push it back in .
it will be at the top of the power supply board i hope it helps
