Press FUNCTION to select the time.

ok, i dug up my old manual and i guess i was wrong,

straight from the book:
1 Press FUNCTION to select AUX.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until AUX appears
in the display.
2 Select AUX on or off with ^/v.
Pressing ^/v will switch AUX between on and
off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
AUX :ON).

and as for t-scan: T-Scan play lets you hear the first 10 seconds of each track on the CD.

hit the 'source' button.

you might have to turn aux on first, in that case, turn the deck off, hold down.... fuction then turn it on.

First check is to see if the fuse to your pink wire (12 volt pos. constant for clock/memory) is okay. Then if you also have positive power on your red lead (12 volt pos. for amplifier/radio) the system should be working. If these don't help the radio will need bench service.

The alpine unit needs power at 3 locations. It gets constant and ignition thru a din plug and the blue accessory wire
