have you updated the drivers for the WIFI adapter to the latest?
Also, there were different standards for WIFI in the past, so if your router is really old you may see issues. Is your WIFI router at the latest firmware?
updating the driver should resolve your issue.
it has to be soldered. find a pc solder shop, this part attaches to where the ac adapter plugs in, it is blown, it services battery and wall power to the system on and system from these two sources. sometimes, there is a pices that bolts out and has a wire plug. it's not usually very expensive or difficult to fix. :)
It should be located on the left or right side of your laptop.
If it is not present on those locations it is possible
that your laptop does not have a dvd drive.
You can of course still enjoy dvd's by
buying an external dvd player if you need this.

Can be caused be overheating of the CPU or video. Make sure all fans are working and try keep some space under it for better cooling. Could also be a bad power supply.

If your not able the boot from the HDD, enter BIOS by pressing F2 at startup. Then press F9 for default settings and then F10 for saving and reboot.. Maybe you need to provide more info.
