Its the power supply board located on the back side of the TV these models are known for the capacitors going out. remove the board by taking all screws from the back of the tv and removing the rear cover the power supply board is the large board right i the center the capasitors that are bad will have a bubble on the top of them ,remove the bad ones with sodier gun you can get them at most Radio shacks good luck

Unless you see more red dots, this kind of "defect" is under specifications for this size of PDP, if you do not like it, the PDP module must be changed

If the screen cracked your are out of luck. You should have put all 4 screws in

any tv repair company will gladley sell you one ever the counter if you have the blown one take it with you if not ask them to check the right values

I'm going to take a stab here and guess that you are connected via component. If so, check your video settings. If you are connected with 3 cables for the video section, verify that the component settings are correct. There should be 2 options: RBG and YPrPb. Chagne the setting to the other and see if that resolves the problem. When these types are interchanged, the picture will tend to look either purple or pink.

The two other symptoms are the P-Logic bd and the Main bd.

Replace the P-Logic board.

its your tuner board thats gone bad its a common problem for samsungs try get it reflowed by a expert or get a new board pref from ebay

Has is sustained any damage?
Can you see any faint images if you look really closely?

If it's not a cracked LCD, then the most likely problem is a bad backlight. Those can usually be replaced fairly cheap. It could also be a bad inverter (a circuit that changes DC power to AC in order to power the backlight). Those can also be replaced.

Your headphone jack, located on the left side of the TV, may need cleaned out. Try inserting and removing a 1/8th inch headset into the jack about 10 times to clear any dust from the connection. If this works, put a piece of tape over the jack so this does not reoccur.

The series of the cable should go green red blue into the back. if you put the green in the red and the red into the green it give the TV a red base to go off of for the picture so everything is red. The reason the green cable won't is because it transmits a black and white picture which allows it a nice base to add the green and red to.

It may still have a warranty try calling the supplier. :D

unfotunetly samsungs are well know for there power panel and that will be your problem
