The subwoofer is much more than just another bass unit and the purpose is to reproduce sub-audible content in order to add ambience to the listening experience and before it can reproduce the sound it must first be part of the recording or performance. Even if a recording is rich in sub-audible content, unless the amplifier is designed to process and filter sub-audible frequencies, the amount of content available at the output is likely to be minimal. A pair of good 3-way loudspeakers will, most of the time produce a purer and more realistic sound with plenty of power and render a subwoofer superfluous. The fact your amp doesn't have an output for a sub means, even if you successfully connect it there is unlikely to be much activity from it. The only sensible way to connect it would be as a ghost speaker as used by many hi-fi enthusiasts since the introduction of stereo. The purpose of a ghost speaker is to fill a gap between the channels and is driven by the difference in emf between the loudspeaker positive of each channel. Unfortunately the difference between the channels isn't great enough to drive a loudspeaker so another amplifier will be needed. As it is a surplus subwoofer you are trying to find a use for you should either obtain the signal from the bass unit of each speaker or use a crossover type filter in the output of the second amp.

I love the form of your question, as I wanted to wing the sucker myself, but got online before I actually pulled an Office Space on it. I found nothing, but I DID actually figure it out. Not super intuitive though. To set the time: Hold down the memory key in the middle until the number flashes. Use the arrow up/down on the right to set hour. Press Memory key again, repeat with arrow keys to set minutes. Hit memory key again. Alarm: Press/hold the Alarm button until the Alarm 1 or 2 flashes and press the side you want, 1 or 2, to set. Arrow time up/down, then do minutes, press alarm 1 again, select alarm or tuner, press alarm 1 again. Now I need to see if it will work in the morning. I know the flipping time is set though! Likely short somewhere, speakers or amplifier

This could be a lot of things. IT could be a switch connection or a chip that has failed, could be a solder connection that is bad. Without proper equipment to send a signal into the unit and trace it, you may not be able to find the problem.

You did not list the model numbers of either item but I can tell you that the new televisions use HDMI to send and receive audio. This is a component failure. A lot of pre amps use OPERATION AMP chips. Finding the issue involves a lot of time and troubleshooting with special equipment.

I bought a new universal remote because my RCA Home Theater remote went bad,took a few hours to figure out that I had to use the Audio remote code on the list.I have RCA RCRN06GR Blu-Ray Home Theater. The audio codes that came with my new remote are 41609, 41254, 41390, 41511, 42041. I believe it was 41254 but try them all if it doesnt work.

It will depend what your input is expecting Have you put in new batteries in the mic? Do you see that the receiver is receiving the mic signal? DVD players normally don't have amps built into them. If you need to connect the DVD to amp (AV) then it will need to be connected either via an RF lead connected via RCA sockets marked RF OUT on the DVD player and one on the AV marked RF IN. If the AV has an optical in, then you can connect the DVD to that for better quality sound. You might also need to change the sound output settings on the DVD player to the correct one you are using. Missing speaking sounds are the result of a lack of a centre channel speaker. If your AV doesn't have one. Then you will have to use the stereo only setting. If the DVD player is only currently connected via the standard RCA left and right jacks, you will only get stereo sound.

If you're trying to put an equaliser in between a source and an preamp or integrated amp, the amp needs to have tape OUT or dubbing OUT connections. This will go to the eq's IN. Then eq OUTs should be connected to the tape or dubbing IN on the amp. When playing any source you set the amp's source selector to tape or dubbing IN and now what you are hearing is coming through the equaliser.
