Try an other setup code. Visit this site for more details. Type in the site name "Electro-help" either Google or Yahoo search box [not in the address bar of your browser], and click search. In the manual there is not insignia dvd or vcr code but you can search for it using the remote.

If your TV, VCR, DVD, or Cable Box does not respond after you have tried all the codes for your brand, or if your brand is not listed, try searching for your code by following the steps below
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
2. Press and hold CODE SEARCH until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release CODE SEARCH.
3. Press and release the device button for the device you are programming (TV, VCR/DVD or DBS/CABLE). The INDICATOR LIGHT will blink once then remain lit.
4. Press and release OFF/ON until your device turns off. Important: You may have to press OFF/ON up to 200 times. 5. When your device turns off, press the ENTER button, the INDICATOR LIGHT will go off.

Thanks for using FixYa. Assuming that you are using an original remote you’ll need to pull out the batteries, reinstall them and reprogram the codes again to resolve the issue. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

U have glitches in the reprograming back and forth.Take the battery out,about an hour.Reprograms the codes again,should work again.Don't reprograms the codes back and forth to many times or one times to many will kill the remote for good.U have 2 tvs,U should have 2 tvs remotes.
