RCA F27450 27" TV - Page 4 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I am getting no sound when on TV sound.
Yes, to get sound from your Roku TV to your receiver when using the TV's built-in apps (such as switching to TV sound), you might need more than just RCA cables. RCA cables only carry analog audio signals, and many modern devices, including Roku TVs, use digital audio signals for better quality.
Here's what you can do to ensure you're getting sound from your Roku TV to your receiver:
- Check Audio Settings on Roku TV:
- Go to your Roku TV's settings menu.
- Look for the audio settings section.
- Make sure the audio output is set to the correct option for your receiver. This is usually HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or Optical audio.
- Use HDMI Cable with ARC Support:
- If your receiver and TV support HDMI ARC, connect an HDMI cable between the ARC HDMI port on your TV and the ARC HDMI port on your receiver.
- Ensure that the HDMI input on your receiver corresponds to the HDMI ARC output on your TV.
- In the TV's audio settings, select HDMI ARC as the audio output.
- Use Optical Cable (if no HDMI ARC):
- If your TV and receiver don't support HDMI ARC, you can use an optical audio cable (Toslink cable).
- Connect one end of the optical cable to the optical audio output on your TV.
- Connect the other end to the optical audio input on your receiver.
- In the TV's audio settings, select optical audio as the audio output.
- Configure Receiver Settings:
- Ensure that your receiver is set to the correct input source for audio. For example, if you're using HDMI ARC, select the corresponding HDMI input on your receiver.
- TV App and Volume Settings:
- When using apps on your Roku TV, make sure the volume is turned up and not muted within the app itself.
- Adjust the TV's volume settings to an appropriate level that allows your receiver to amplify the sound effectively.
- Test with Different Content:
- Test the setup with different apps on your Roku TV to ensure that the issue is not specific to a certain app.
If you've tried these steps and are still not getting sound from your Roku TV through your receiver, it's possible that there might be compatibility issues between your TV and receiver. You could also try reaching out to Roku's customer support or your receiver's manufacturer for further assistance.

Description:
This HDMI tablet computer edges out a lot of tablets when it comes to overall weight, as it is tagged with a 46.72-ounce weight, which is the heaviest we have encountered so far (at least as of 2016), but is probably explained by its included detachable keyboard, and it is furnished with an above-average 32GB of built-in memory, which can further be increased to up to 128GB via a microSD card (not included in the package). Besides, it also does not seem poised to capture stellar-quality photos, as it only bets on an ordinary 2-megapixel main camera and a lowly 1-megapixel selfie camera.

RCA DVD Recorder+VCR Combo DRC8320N
Sure, here are some possible things you can do if your RCA DVD Recorder+VCR Combo DRC8320N is not working:
- Check the power cord. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in securely and that the outlet is working.
- Reset the DVD recorder. Unplug the DVD recorder from the power outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Try a different DVD. If you are trying to play a DVD, try a different DVD to see if that works.
- Clean the laser lens. The laser lens is responsible for reading the DVD discs. If the laser lens is dirty, it may not be able to read the discs correctly. You can clean the laser lens with a soft cloth and some isopropyl alcohol.
- Replace the laser assembly. If the laser lens is damaged, you may need to replace the laser assembly.
- Take it to a repair shop. If you have tried all of the above and the DVD recorder is still not working, you may need to take it to a repair shop.
Here are some safety guidelines to keep in mind:
- Do not attempt to open the DVD recorder yourself. This could void the warranty and could also be dangerous.
- Do not use any chemicals or solvents to clean the DVD recorder. This could damage the components.
- If you are taking the DVD recorder to a repair shop, be sure to pack it carefully. You do not want to damage the components during transport.
I hope this helps!
RCA VCR stops playing after a few seconds
It could be due to wornout or broken belts, the VCR uses belts to operate various the mechanical components. If the belts are damaged the machine may stop playing tapes.
It can also be an electrical problem,if there is an issue with the the electrical components of the machine such as power supply or circuit board.it may cause the machine to stop playing tapes
Input Block on my RCA RT2412-E television.
Question edited for clarity.
You state "I tried to play my DVD player in the AV output". It should be the AV Input not the Output on the television. Ideally you should be connected by an HDMI cable!
You need to do a Factory Reset. That should bring back the Default code.
Where is the inverter and LED driver on a RCA Roku television?
Hi Kristy, the backlight inverter is part of the power board however I doubt this is the issue, most likely you have at least one LED button that's open, they wire these like Christmas lights, remove one bulb the string goes dark, I own a TV service center and we get hundreds of sets with no backlights a year, about 95% of the time it's the actual backlights that have failed as the inverter section seldom gives issues, you will need to remove the panel and defusing panels to get at the lamps, be VERY careful handling the panel, it's quite fragile and static electricity can damage it, we have the proper gear to handle it in our shop, what Ive recommended for home repair is put shoes on then put a few an inch of water in the bath tub and get your shoes wet before removeing and replacing the panel, this will eliminate static damage. Good luck!!
What is the code for a naxa DVD player ND-861
To program your RCA universal remote to control your Naxa DVD player ND-861, you will need to use the correct code for your device. Here are the steps to follow:
Power on your Naxa DVD player.
Press and hold the "Code Search" button on your RCA universal remote until the indicator light turns on.
Release the "Code Search" button.
Press and release the "DVD" button on your RCA remote.
Enter the code for your Naxa DVD player. You can find a list of RCA remote codes for Naxa DVD players in the RCA remote manual that came with your remote or by searching online. For example, the code for Naxa DVD players may be 3394.
Press the "Enter" button on your RCA remote. The indicator light on your remote will turn off if the code was entered correctly.
Test the remote to see if it's working. Try playing a DVD and using the remote to navigate the menu.
If the first code you tried didn't work, repeat the steps with a different code until you find one that works. If none of the codes work, it's possible that your RCA universal remote is not compatible with your Naxa DVD player.
Rca wont turn on what do i do I tried every thing but it won't turn on
If your RCA TV won't turn on, there are a few things you can try:
- Check the power source: Make sure that the TV is properly plugged in and the outlet is functioning properly. You can also try plugging in a different device to the same outlet to see if it works.
- Check the power cord: Check the power cord for any damage or fraying. If you see any damage, try replacing the power cord.
- Try a different remote: If you are using a remote to turn on the TV, try using a different remote or try turning it on manually using the power button on the TV.
- Check for any error messages: If the TV is showing an error message or blinking lights, refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for troubleshooting steps.
- Reset the TV: Unplug the TV from the power source for at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in and try turning it on again.
If none of these steps work, it may be a more serious issue that requires professional repair.
RCA LCD TV Model #39LB45RQ; Power Board #RE46DZ1751. No standby light; ~2.4v measured at the 5v standby pin. Is there any specific component on the board to further test/replace?
There are a few components that could be responsible for the lack of standby power on the RCA power board:
- Fuse: Check to see if the fuse on the power board is intact. If it's blown, then that could be the reason for the lack of standby power.
- Capacitors: Check the capacitors on the power board for signs of bulging or leaking. If any of the capacitors are faulty, then they may need to be replaced.
- Diodes: Check the diodes on the power board to ensure that they are not shorted or open. If any of the diodes are faulty, then they may need to be replaced.
- Voltage regulator: Check the voltage regulator on the power board to ensure that it is providing the correct output voltage. If the voltage regulator is faulty, then it may need to be replaced.
If all of these components check out, then it's possible that the power board itself is faulty and needs to be replaced.
I have a RCA dvd home theatre system rtd317 & the tray opens & closes with or without a disk & won't read the disk.
If your RCA DVD home theatre system RTD317 tray is opening and closing without reading the disk, and you've tried unplugging it, cleaning the laser lens, and the motor doesn't seem to be working, it's possible that there may be an issue with the motor or with the disk mechanism itself. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the disk: Make sure that the disk you are trying to play is clean and free of scratches. Sometimes a dirty or scratched disk can prevent the player from reading it.
- Reset the system: Try resetting the system to its default settings. To do this, unplug the unit from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Check the motor: When the tray closes, listen closely to see if you can hear the motor spinning. If you can't hear the motor, there may be an issue with the motor or with the power supply to the motor. In this case, it may be necessary to have the motor replaced.
- Check the disk mechanism: If the motor is working but the disk still won't spin, there may be an issue with the disk mechanism itself. In this case, it may be necessary to have the disk mechanism repaired or replaced.
- Contact customer support: If none of these steps work, it may be best to contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance or to have the unit repaired by a professional.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines when working with electronic devices.
