The program you're using is out of date and if you haven't renewed the Norton 2004 since then, you will have to purchase a new version or updates to work.

You need to contact Symantec directly.

you're using outdated version of norton. reactivation doesn't mean you get another year of support. You may need to call Symantec to check if your version can be upgraded to 2008.

try symantec's own ftp server, download and run this

You should call Symantec for this concern because they should explain what happen to this transaction.

after you install symantec anti virus ..you scan the drive..

JUST TAKE IN TO A REPAIR SHOP THEY WILL BE ABLE TO FIX IT FOR YOU

If you're a home user I would suggest uninstalling Norton as you have an old version and install AVG Anti Virus and Zone Alarm firewall. These are both free for home users and have more modern engines.

You should also notice a speed improvement on your PC as Norton products can be quite rescource hungry.

Norton needs to be removed using the Norton Removal Tool (there is no other way of removing it completely). The removal tool can be found here:

It may be due to u r not a registered user or ur nero is a corrupted one
So either download a  complete version (u can ask me for the link or search it in www.mininova.org )or register ur nero by getting the registration code

No, try another antivirus, anything but norton. Try nod32 or AVG.

You need to update this order number into Norton Antivirus. Additionally NAV may actually need to be reinstalled. Symantec should be able to talk you through any issues with your resubscription process, as you haven't been specific enough with what you have done on with your client software during the renewal fo your subscription.
