Please make sure that the player is reset and so the processor will reset. In all players there is a provision for resetting. If not the player can be connected to the PC and scanned for virus. If detected remove the files and format.
If there is no response the player memory is corrupt or damaged.

does anyone have the problem of not being able to plug in the earphones?

connect the mp3 player the PC
1:Go to My computer
2:go to removal DISK (your mp3 player Drive)
3:copy the songs form your computer and put it in the Music or sounds folder on your mp4 player if there is no folder create One .

you need to restore the firmware...if you could tell the exact model number it would be gr8...try formatting with windows if that doesnt work and if it is a nomad then initialising with the respective creative software will fix it

How can I recover data from a hard drive that has I/O Disk Error and Lost Partition...

the reason is: the software cant read data from the storage medium. When the software built in looks at the command to get data and executes it the storage medium (hard disk) isnt responding. It is likely a hardware error. If the item is new than try returning it to the store it came from or exchanging it. Also check the manufacturer as they may replace it under warranty.

If you do not have these options than try to search google for a FirmWare update specific to your model of player. This is usually available from ACER or whoever made the unit. If that doesnt fix the problem than it is a hardware problem for sure and probably is destined to meet the trashcan.

Check with the manufacturer. (ACER). Often times though they wont offer you an option to repair it especially if its beyond your warranty period. If all else fails buy a new one.

check your file type that you are putting into the mp3 player. This is a common mistake. Most accept MP3 but not other file types such as WMA from windows media player or AAC from Itunes. If all that is good then check where on the mp3's file system the files went using my computer. If they arent in the right folders than they might not show up

It sounds like you may have deleted the firmware install on the device..contact the manufacturer and get the firmware updated...

You have to save the files into a library and then copy them to your mp4 player. Once it is in your library you can open the mp4 player through my computer and copy the file to it.
