Here is the service mode entering process for Sharp Tv.

Unplug the TV
* Press and hold the {VOL -} & {CH+} buttons.
* While holding the above buttons, plug in the TV.
* The TV will turn on with the Service Menu displayed.

* There are 5 category menus:
Deflection - Signal - Feature - Fix Value - EEPROM
* Use {CH+} {CH -} buttons to select a category.
Note: Not all models will have 5 categories.
Some will jump to 'Signal' category.

* Use {VOL+} to enter the category.
* Use {CH+} {CH -} buttons to select the item to be adjusted.
* Use {VOL+} {VOL -} buttons to adjust the value.
* Turn the set off to exit the Service Menu.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. If all u have is a screw on connector u will have to get a RCA converter which the round connector hooks on to and the Sat will plug into it and set the channel button on the converter to what the TV is.

As i can not see the circuit or the schematic diagram... as you have said..there had no 5 volts, please check the IC regulator coded: 7805.

audio will always come out no matter what source is selected on the tv. make sure you select the right video source input on the tv to get video. ie component 1, 2, 3 or dvi, rgb, hdmi etc.
