The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

I want to down load the pictrures from the camera

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Probably the first thing to try is formatting the card. There is a function in the camera menus to do this. If it won't format or gives an error when you try, then there may be an issue with the connectors in the card slot or the card may be incompatible.

If this is a new card, maybe it is having trouble with the size of the memory. Memory cards have grown enormously in capacity in the last couple of years, and even relatively new cameras may not be able to cope with the memory size of the newest cards. It is often difficult to find out the maximum capacity a camera will use, as today's memory cards are much larger that those available when the manuals for the camera was written.

SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but many cameras won't work with the SDHC (high capacity) cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

Hello there Tim,

Turn off your camera and remove the memory card. On the card, look for a small tab that can be adjusted upwards or downwards. That makes the card protected. Just adjust the tab against the original position and return back memory card on the camera. That's it!

Hope this helps.

I need the drivers for a Vivicam 3315 camera.

If you just need to download your pics, the easiest way is to use a card reader.

Card error

The cards are too big - the ONLY implicite statement I've seen showed the picture capcacities with a 128MB card (Yes, One Hundred Twenty Eight MEGA Bytes) It might be able to use a 512Mb card, but I doubt it.
