Can't download pics from polaroid digital camera to windows xp
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
Organize edit and share your photos

What are the modifications to download pics from polaroid 640 se camera using windowsxp
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Polaroid photomax se: how do I turn it on; where
There are four buttons on the top of the camera. Looking at the back of the camera and numbering them from left to right as 1,2,3,and 4, the on/off button is number 1. Your camera does not use a memory card...it only uses the internal memory of the camera. If you copy and paste this address into your browser, you can download a copy of the users manual.

ERROR: code 28 -- Windows XP & USB 2.0
I'm unable to connect my western digital hard drive to my Windows XP computer via
the USB port. When I check the USB 2.0 Controller in the Device
Manager, there is a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to it. When I
check on the status of the USB 2.0 Controller, the following message
appears:
The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28).
What do I do now?

Error - Kernel32.dll
Microsoft defines Kernel32 errors as follows:
"The Kernel32.dll file is a 32-bit dynamic link library file that is found in Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Millenium Edition (Me). The Kernel32.dll file handles memory management, input/output operations, and interrupts. When you start Windows, Kernel32.dll is loaded into a protected memory space so that other programs do not take over that memory space.
On occasion, you may receive an invalid page fault (IPF) error message. This error message occurs when a program tries to access the Kernel32.dll protected memory space. Occasionally, the error message is caused by one particular program, and other times the error message is provoked by multiple files and programs."

"No camera is connected" -- USB connection
The "No camera is connected" error message indicates a communications problem in the USB connection between the camera and the computer. Simply put, the computer cannot find the camera it is being asked to connect with.
There is usually no single "most likely" reason for the conflict -- it could be a hardware issue as easily as it could be a software issue.

USB connection problem using Windows 98 Second Edition.
The cause of this problem can be traced to both the computer's hardware configuration and Windows 98SE (Second Edition).
PhotoMAX cameras and other devices featuring USB (Universal Serial Bus) connections may not work with computers running Windows 98 Second Edition and equipped with the following computer hardware:
* an AMD processor (350 MHz or higher)
* VIA Technologies USB Host Controller or SiS 7001 USB Host Controller
To find out what USB Host Controller is on your system:
1. Click Start > Settings and choose Control Panel.
2. Double click the System icon.
3. Choose the Device Manager tab. A window similar to the one shown below appears.
4. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers listing by clicking on the "+" sign next to the listing.
5. Note the type of host controller in the listing. The example above shows the SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller.

My Fun! Flash 640 does not power on.
Check to see that the On/Off switch is in the On position.
Check to see that the green power light on the back of the camera is lit. If it is not lit, make sure that the batteries are loaded properly. If necessary, insert fresh batteries and try again.

320 x 240 dpi Photo Transfer Problem
Certain computer hardware and software configurations conflict with PhotoMAX or PhotoImpression software. As a result, you may not be able to transfer 320 x 240 dpi photos from your Polaroid Fun! Flash 640 digital damera. This problem does not occur if you use the camera's default resolution of 640 x 480 dpi.
