Take the side cover off and use compressed air to clean the dust off the heatsink fins atop the processor. If that doesn't help, take any cowling off, and make sure no dirt is plugged between the heatsink fins.

Restore emachine
Your machine has two ways of repair: SYSTEM RESTORE and SYSTEM RECOVERY. System restore is a Windows utility that rolls the machine back to a point where the machine worked before the problem. System recovery is an eMachines tool that puts the machine back the way it was when you first got it. Restore wont delete your data, recovery will and can. If the problem is catastrophic, and youve backed up your data off of the machine, use the recovery option. Your recovery partition (or a recovery disk) is needed to do this, and it involves pressing a key while the computer boots up. Check your documentation for your model of machine.

My emachine t2482 doesnt run
Windows computers have a tendency to slow down over time due to accumulation of what we in the industry call "cruft". Each time you install a new program, even if you remove it, it will tend to leave a mess behind. Each icon you see in your system tray is another program running int he background, slowing your system down.
The best way to combat this is by regularly formatting and reinstalling Windows (at LEAST every two years). Back up all of your important files to CD, USB flash drive, or external hard disk, write down a list of what programs you have installed that you still need, then follow your manufacturer's recommended process for doing a system recovery or factory restore, which will erase the contents of the hard disk and bring the system back to the way it came from the factory. Once that's done, reinstall your software and restore your backed up files.

The sound isn't working on my pc. I have checked
Have you checked the sound driver? Does the sound work with headphones?
If the sound driver is correct and working there will be, when checking the sound mixer, moveable virtual slider controls.
If it works on headphones, the headphone socket may be faulty.
The likelyhood of no sound due to a power problem is not very high.

Emachines G720 could you please help me restore it
If your computer has a restore partition, it can be accessed by repeatedly tapping alt+F10 right after turning the computer on. Usually with Acer computers (including emachines, gateway, and packard bell) I press alt+F10, alt+F11, F10, and then F11, and keep doing that, until it starts loading the recovery partition.
If that does not work, your computer may not have a restore partition, and you will need recovery discs. Usually you can obtain these from the manufacturer, but they will often charge for this.

Everything on screen big
Two ways...
1. Hold down "control" and press either '-' to make smaller or '+' to make it larger. This is a temporary setting and will revert when you exit the application.
2. Right click on a clear are of your desktop and choose 'properties'-> 'settings'. On the left side of this dialogue box is a slider adjuster which you can use to adjust the screen resolution to your requirements.

My system is not booting up I click on safemode it
put in your recovery disks or OS disks that came with the machine when you purchased it. There should be a repair option, if not you might need to recover the data on there and do a clean operating system install. That is of course if its a software issue.

Comes on, but no picture, seems like its stuck in
Perhaps the problem lies not with the computer but with the monitor. Is the boot up screen showing like "Windows is starting up..." or do you simply get no image whatsoever? If your screen is blanked out alltogether the monitor may not be connected properly or may not even be functioning at all. Try looking to see if it's connected properly and seeing if it's even getting power... Otherwise I'd replace the monitor.

Internet falls
Please clarify: Are you not able to connect to the internet even though your connected to your network?
If so this is caused by a malaware virus which grabs folders of yours and moves them so you can't use that program. I would suggest a full virus scan and cleaning so you can get rid of that virus.
If it's something different please give me more information on what is happening and i'll try my best to help you out.
Hope this helps ^^. Please don't forget to rate, Thanks.
