How to reset access code on magnavox 20ms233s
Hi. It's really necessary to have the original remote. All so called replacment do not have the "menu" button. In Philips TV's access code is not rquired. In your case, some channels are "whiped" and cannot be recalled. If you can go into setup-menu, things can be rearranged. There are numerous web-shops where you can buy an orignal remote. I recently bought an original remote for my DVD player. This however was at an on-line shop in Belgium. Just surch for Pilips on line shops in your country. Good luck.
How do i convert video files to mjpeg for magnavox tv
Hi Anonymous.
You can watch the converted files on your tv, in fact any tv, provided that it is equiped with video input(s), be it Scart or a separate video input by RCA connectors.
Your files can be played in a DVD player, or in any player equiped with a USB input. (files burnt on a disc, or on a USB stick.)
Conversion should be done on a computer. There you need conversion software, which you can download from the net, and installed.

This is one of the many free convertors you can find. I guess you're familiar with the procedures to be followed.
Good luck and best regards. F.Baeteman Belgium.
My digital stream converter box DTX9900 was purchased on 8/7/08
My (otherwise great...) DTX9900 converter box died with these same
symptoms. (Units green LED flashes continuously and unit is dead)
Upon inspecting the unit I located a blown electrolytic capacitor on
it's power supply board. After replacing the blown capacitor the
converter has worked fine. A blown capacitor can be identified
visually. The canister's top will be expanded out instead of flat. Just
compare all of the caps. Look for any that are not flat on top. Blown
caps will usually be discolored. The bad cap in my unit
was a 330uf / 16v - 105c value cap. I replaced it with a slightly
superior brand 330uf / 25v - 105c cap.

How do i manually program my channels on older tv without a remote
Nothing you can do without the original remote. One cannot get into the setup pages. Replacement remotes usually don't work on this point either. They are missing this special setup button. In order to watch DVD, VCR, connect them with a SCART cable. When you switch on the player, the TV will detect this and go automaticaly to this input. If connected with RCA plugs, you can choose the input with the program Up/Dwn buttons on the TV set itself, going "lower" than channel 1.
