The OBJECTIVE lens is the one in the front of the scope-- you DID NOT take it apart did you?

You only needed to clean `the outside of the glass elements. Read my tips on my profile page about why you never disassemble these and or eyepieces completely.

You will NEVER be able to use the 3x barlow in that small telescope. Sorry.

Your maximum usable magnification will be 50 times aperture.

If your scope is like the picture you posted(2 inch lens), then about 100 power is all you will ever be able to use.

Take it outside during the day time-- put the eyepiece with the LARGEST number written on it into the telescope--- this is the LOWEST magnification.

Point it at a distant object and practice focusing-- the moon should be your first night time object.

I actually have the same series as you and I am missing a cord its the aux cord it says and its the shape as a land line phone outlet just bigger but I looked at my local Kmart,radio shak They looked at me like I was crazy lol
