21PT4443/94R NO PICTURE AND SOUND REMOTE COMMANDS OK
Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

21PT4475 where is the fuse
Usually with these types of TVs the fuse is located on a circuit board inside, often right next to where the power cord enters through the plastic case of the tv. If you are not familiar with electronics, I would not recommend replacing the fuse yourself, for safety reasons. See if you can get a professional to do it for you, or at least a friend that is familiar with electronic devices.
Good luck!

Sctratch on screen
Hi haydenjessa6,
Instead of toothpaste (although it will leave TV set minty fresh) go to your local glass shop. You know the place; where they replace windshields and sell windows and mirrors. They will have a powder polish that you can use and might only charge you a small fee for a small amount. You might find it at a local jeweler as well. Ask for "jewelers rouge" or "polishing rouge". Mix it one part to one part water and one part glycerin and use the polishing wheel on a roto-tool (Dremel).
Another product to try is an automotive polishing compound such as Dupont 7.
Of course all of this is assuming that this is a glass screen and not a plastic screen on a projection TV. Remember that if the scratch is too deep no amount of polishing will remove it...
Good luck,
Rob

the display to time out between entries while keying the sequence).
Picture is cut off at top and bottom
Hello This is an indication that your vertical output stage is beginning to malfunction. It could be the vertical output IC or the vertical coupling capacitor. I would suggest using the schematic and an oscilloscope to determine if the signal is correct. You may have to replace the IC or the capacitor.
I hope this helps,
Thank you,

Philips tv
I have a 32 inch phillips tv that I bought from someone else and it has a child lock code on certain channels. How do I get this code off.
No raster, No sound
Your problem discription is not very detailed but certainly it sounds like the first place to look would be at the fuses if the set is completely dead. Good luck.
No raster, No sound, No channel number
wepu, Buddy it sounds like you got a power supply problem. As you say the picture is all blue?? With no video or sound and the fact that the channel display is out is the first indication that i would guess this. Do you still have the owners manual that you got when you first got the set? Good, cause thats the only place i can think of where to look in case of service over in your part of the world as I did try!! Man I tryed but to no avail. No one has heard of this model but that dosent mean that it dos'ent exsit!.. If your a tech or know your way around solid state circuitry then you should have no problem finding the fault once you get a service manual from the service location in your owners manual. Now if your not a tech and a handy man ?? If I were you I wouldnt mess with the tv as theres over 25000 volts inside the set and i've seen it make a grown man cry. Man dont attempt the repair or troubleshooting if you dont have the right or proper tools and equipment!!! Good Luck
