Tuner
Hello,
the answer is yes. Once you get another tuner, simply use soldering iron to remove the old turner from the TV panel board and replace with another.
Good luck.
Emerson sb350 ( spongebob dvd combo )
I had the same problem.I fixed it by unpluging the tv.Then while holding in the power button I plugged it back in,still holding in the power button for twenty seconds. That fixed it.I read somewhere you could reset a Sony that way so I gave it a try and it worked.I also put a cd cleaning disk in it because it was saying "wrong disk" and that fixed that problem.Good Luck

My Emerson DVD player says Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc
The error message "Disc Error Playback feature may not be available on this disc" can have a few different causes. Here are some of the most common:
- The disc is not compatible with the DVD player. Some DVD players are only compatible with certain regions or formats of discs. If the disc you are trying to play is not compatible with your DVD player, you will get this error message.
- The disc is damaged. If the disc is scratched, dirty, or otherwise damaged, it may not be able to be read by the DVD player.
- The DVD player is faulty. If the DVD player is faulty, it may not be able to read discs correctly.
Here are some things you can try to fix the problem:
- Try playing the disc in another DVD player. If the disc plays in another DVD player, then the problem is with your DVD player.
- Clean the disc. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the disc. Be careful not to scratch the disc.
- Format the disc. If the disc is formatted for a different region or format, you may need to format it for your DVD player.
- Reset the DVD player. If the DVD player is faulty, you may need to reset it.
If you have tried all of these things and you are still getting the error message, then you may need to replace the DVD player.
