Meade maintains all their manuals on this web site-- look under the REFRACTOR heading for one that is similar to your scope. You will not find an exact manual for that telescope; but they all assemble and are used in a similar fashion.

1st time user.
They are supposed to be upside down, this is how a telescope works. There are additional lenses that can be purchased on some telescopes that flip the image to make it look rightside up, not sure on yours but you can check the web or hobby shops for these. Nothing wrong with your scope, just doing what it is supposed to do.
If you find my advice helpful a vote on the thumbs up would be greatly appreciated, this helps me help more people. Thanks

YOU DO NOT! This is a Maksutov style telescope. These must be collimated on an optical bench if the tube is dis-assembled. Meade can do the cleaning properly and or Dr. Clay in Arkansas.

I have a Meade LX
After trying to find this problem on the net (which I failed to do), I realized this is a sophisticated device and there are many things that, if forced, could damage the unit. I found the manual on it, and I suggest you review it to see if it's a setting you could try.

If you're still having trouble, contact Meade support to see what can be done to fix the problem.
Here's their site:

Wish I had more, but hope this helps.

I believe this is a reflector style telescope with a mirror in the bottom.
Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser-- go out side during the day time and practice focusing the scope on a distant object.

I have a Model 155w Altazimuth Refracting
There should be a screw hole in the bottom of the tube and or two screw holes one on each side of the tube.
In the first example all you need is a photo tripod and screw the tube on it-- in the second you are missing the "fork arms that attach to the telescope -- like this picture:

I believe the Classic requires you to press the Mode key to start tracking.
Have you installed new hand controller cables and a new DEC cable just to make sure it is not a cable problem.
scopestuff.com sells these.

Blank autostar screen, light but no message, bought
You do have batteries inside? I suppose. If you do the power panel light should be on (red)--- if it is the scope is powered up BUT THE CORD going to the hand controller is broken. Buy a new hand controller cord.
If the power light is NOT on then a circuit board is probably defective inside the scope base. Meade can repair this but you must send them the telescope.
