How to hook up equalizer to the amplifier
always remember source, amp, then speakers. ex: cd to eq to amp to speakers and it goes: out from cd player into eq, out from eq into amp, out from amp into speakers . hope this makes it easier for you.
How do i fix a mecha error from home
I had worked on one once that was thought to only need belts- it needs a total mehanical tear down to remove the old grease- they are not worth the money it takes to do the repair job
How do I dub using the onyx double cassette deck?
There should be a button or switch that will select the recording deck and the dubbing deck. You put a blank tape into the recording deck and the pre-recorded one into the play deck. Pressing the record button on the dubbing deck, on some models should start the play deck running. If not press play on that deck.
I need to know how I can hook up my Teac EQA 5
It is very easy, you don't need a manual for this. The EQ line in and Line out get hooked into the record out and Tape in of one of the tape loops on the Sansui amp. Record outs go to EQ in and the EQ out goes to tape play.
I have a model TC-WE425. when i turn it on, i get
Mine did the sane thing. Since I had cassettes in at the time, I noticed that neither turned and I saw an "E" on each display. Figured the belts were broken or something. Unplugged unit and removed the cover. Both belts on each side were stretched out enough so that the wheels would not spin. Each side has 1 flat belt (like a rubber band) and another that is smaller , skinnier and perhaps circular in it's diametric shape (like an o-ring). A repair kit on E-Bay is $16.00 plus shipping and that's if you know how to replace them. A better bet is to go to your local Goodwill store and look at the electronics area. I found the exact deck there 8 years ago and it worked well. It cost me $9.99
Where can I have my 15 year old Sony Model
Depend on your location and willingness to ship the unit. The cost of the repair must also be weighed in. If you don't want to put $100 into it I don't think most shops these days will want to open it up. Dual cassette deck are notorious for failure due to cheap design. Look around at all the problems. I have been fixing units for 40 years and even at Sony and Sony authorized. I can look at it at Skywave Tape Deck Repair in Chicago area if you want. Google it.
Cassette Tape stuck
Try pushing the eject button while pusshing the power button. Mine was doing the same and that is how I was able to eject the tape.
Good luck
