See the picture above? put the diagonal into the focuser and then put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the diagonal. DO NOT USE the 2x barlow if you have one.
Take the scope outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object------ make sure the lens cap on the front is OFF.

Eyepieces come in 3 sizes-- .965, 1.25, and 2 inch sizes. Measure the hole in the focuser and buy the correct size.

Look under the Polaris header --

Practice focusing on a distant object during the day time by turning the focus knob right and or left until you get a sharp image.

Missing lens's
Eyepieces are typically expensive. Here is a link to some lower cost ones at $24 each. You only need 1 or two to get started. try 25mm and 12mm.
