Block incoming text

In iOS 7, there is an update that allows you to 'Block the Caller' this should block Text Messages and Calls from that number. If that does not work, you can reach out to Law Enforcement about the harassment, or your Cell Phone carrier to block that number all together... Best of luck with that.

I just got an unlocked Samsung Rugby II and am unable to make or receive calls - even though my new carrier has activated their SIM card. I have full bars. All of the contacts I keyed into my phone ar

If you just put your sim in you might need to give it 24 hours to provision. Also, if it doesn't work, check with your carrier. You might have an incorrect sim in there. There has been modifications to the chips and some of the older ones that had no problems do not work in newer phones.

How you I turn up the volume on the ear piece

On my Samsung phone, I just put the volume up while talking on the phone. Anytime, press the volume key, and if a visual appears on the screen, tap the gear to the right and it will open up options for different types of volumes. The other way should be to go into your settings and choose sounds.

How do I adjust the volume on a rugby II cell phone

Are you wanting to adjust the ringer volume? If so, open the phone, tilt phone to the right 45 degrees, the two bottom buttons on the left side are for ringer volume control, up and down. As far as volume control into the ear , it is the same left side control buttons. Volume is from 0-7, 7 being the highest. That is how it is on my Rugby phone. Good luck.

Samsung S9 turning Samsung Music app on by itself

It sounds like there might be a glitch or an issue with the Samsung Music app on your Samsung S9. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:
  1. Force Stop and Clear Cache:
    • Go to Settings on your phone.
    • Scroll down and select "Apps" or "Applications Manager."
    • Find and tap on "Samsung Music."
    • Tap on "Force Stop" to stop the app.
    • Then tap on "Storage."
    • Tap on "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data."
    • Restart your phone and check if the issue persists.
  2. Update the App:
    • Make sure you have the latest version of the Samsung Music app installed on your phone. Go to the Google Play Store, search for "Samsung Music," and see if there's an update available. If yes, install the update and check if the problem is resolved.
  3. Check for Rogue Apps:
    • Sometimes, third-party apps can interfere with the normal operation of other apps. Try to remember if you installed any new apps around the time this issue started happening. You can try uninstalling recently installed apps one by one to see if the problem goes away.
  4. Reset App Preferences:
    • Go to Settings on your phone.
    • Scroll down and select "Apps" or "Applications Manager."
    • Tap on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner and select "Reset app preferences."
    • Confirm the action. This will reset app permissions, notifications, and any default apps you've set.
  5. Factory Reset (Last Resort):
    • If none of the above steps work, you may consider performing a factory reset on your phone. This will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up important files and data before proceeding. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Factory data reset.
If the issue persists after trying these steps, it's possible that there's a deeper software issue with your phone. In that case, you may need to contact Samsung support or visit a Samsung service center for further assistance.
