To make your (smart) phone sim lock free, you have to look in your contract how long you have to wait till your provider has to unlock it. This can be one year, sometimes even longer. I faced the same problem before a day on my Windows XP laptop. I un-installed the PC-Suite software, and problem got resolved. The issue is the conflict between two Internet Provider's softwares. Please try uninstalling any such softwares on your laptop/PC.
