The number of flashes will tell me the fault, however non of the information will be good . That is when this happens it is always a money payaout for major type repair. Some component has an open circuit or a toatal board has copllapsed. Not a DIY either.
The first temporary test you could try is unplug it for 24 hours to see if it will restart. However this is usually tempory and may mnot turn on the next time either and even more damage will have possibly occur.ed.

How i know wich lamp is damage?
There is only one lamp in this model set. You can tell when its worn when the unit intermittently shuts down while watching or the picture is not as bright as it used to be. The lamp compartment is usually located on the right side of the unit, there you will see a small compartment door access. Remove the screws and the Lamp will be visible, you might see two screws on both sides of the lamp or a handle to just gently pull the lamp out.
The picture and sound shut off every 20 seconds or

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. Have a blessed one!

I have a flashing red light and when this happened
How old is the TV?
I have the same problem with my Panasonic.
I took the back panel off and used compressed air to blow out the dust.
It is working better but still have the problem once in a while.
I also replaced the batteries in the remote. I also point the remote at 90 degree when not in use. If the remote is acting on it's own and can send on/off signal to the TV.
I have fewer turning/off/on problem now.
