Hi Please check this link to get an idea about replacing optical block and see if all the settings inside have been done properly or not:- http://www.ehow.com/how_7694194_replace-optical-block-sony-wega.html However the blue CRT is most likely shorted and if the TV is more than a few years old, replacing all three tubes may be necessary. If your Projection TV is rolling vertically or horizontally when you watch either cable or over the air broadcasts, try the following: Make sure that all your cables are connected correctly and securely. For example, if you have mistakenly connected a Component output from a set top box to a standard video or AV input on your TV, the resulting picture will be distorted. If you are watching over the air broadcasts, make sure your antenna is aimed so that you are receiving the strongest signal. If you are watching standard cable, make sure that the cable is connected firmly at the wall jack and the back of the TV. If you have a set top box that lets you adjust the output resolution (to 480p, 480i, 720p, or 1080i), make sure that the resolution you have chosen is compatible with the input jack to which you've attached the set top box.
