Hi Gwen, This TV set doesn't have a digital tuner and you will need a digital converter box to receive over the air channels. You still an antenna to receive the signal and then to connect it to your digital converter box. The programming should be easy. The converter box should come with the user's guide on how to hook it up and program it.

High voltage in TV got problem and thats why TV gives 10 time blink error code.
Qualified TV tech will fix it as its bit complicated fix.

The standby light blinks 5 times

If the stnadby light blinks 9x, there is a leaky diode in the G board(5Volts standby circuit) causing the problem. I don't have the service manual but I remember it's the D6301. To make it sure check all 8 diodes including the one in zero detection circuit(all in G board). Hope this helps :)

There is some problme in G Board (power supply board) in your Sony KP-46WT520 tv that is why standby light blinks 9 times.

It uses 3 picture tubes which due to the age of the set are no longer available.

The next time it does that go to the Convergence menu in the main menu and look to see if convergence is bad when it looks scrambled.let me know what you find.
