HDMI input stopped working
The problem is the main board in your TV. If your TV is a LG or SONY brand, please try this:Re-Flow Soldering Procedure for LG Main Board 1.Pre-heat your kitchen oven to 385 degree (No more than 400 degree); 2.Put the main board on a card board (like a pizza box board) in the oven; 3.Heat it for 10 minutes (No more than 10 minutes); 4.Turn the oven off & leave the door open, at this moment, do not touch or move the board until it colds down to the room temperature. 5.Install the board in the TV & try it out.
Picture and sound goes in and out
The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Lost all Power to TV
My TV did the same thing today. My red light blinks 6 times. Any help would be much appreciated!

Go to the last page of troubleshooting in the manual and perform the system reset procedure. Basically hold the Wega "arrow up" as you manually switch the TV off. It will automatically switch back on and reset. I had only vertical colored lines on the screen, with audio but no response to any remote control functions. The rest worked perfectly.
Can't connect to netfix
Go to menu and download update from Sony. I think there is a software update for this problem.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. Dark pictures
Increase your brightness or decrease darkness setting under display in your menu. Lower your contrast if need be too. This always solves that for me. There may be a "Black Level" as well.
