If the screen displays VIDEO 1 then the set is in video 1 mode, looking for a signal on the video 1 input jacks. Press the TV/VIDEO button on the remote (or the set itself if it has it) and cycle around to the input you are actually using.

Please count the blinks and post that number. That is an internal diagnostic code that will indicate the problem circuit. From that I can give you probable repair parts and costs.

your audio setting is set to 5.1 and your do not have enough speakers to hear all the sounds. I suggest to change the setting to 2 speakers and you will be able to hear everything. good luck

I have this very same problem. It is getting worse over time. I want a new TV but right now I don't have the money.

Video input source is changed by the buttons:
1. Video Source
2. Input
3. TV/Video
4. Source

one of those four on the remote some where.

Also, chances are your TV itself will have one of those buttons somewhere.
Usually pressing it will either cycle through the inputs or bring up a selection of them, which is usually navigated by either arrow buttons on your remote or the channel up and down keys.
Lemme know how it goes.

I have an old Sony Trinitron; had the same problem... somehow turned on the pip while moving the television off its stand. I have neither the remote nor the manual.

Does your tv have a 'demo' button on the front? Mine does; when I pressed it, the pip disappeared!

Count the flashes and verify that the model is KV-32FS100. The flash count will indicate the circuit in which the problem was detected.

It is possible that the physical connection inside the set is broken. Can you solder? If so, update this and I'll provide more information and instructions.

The only way to fix it is to open the tv up and relocate the button also check that the cables are plugged in properly hopefully no clips have been broken, Make sure you unplug the tv first.

How many times this light flases in TV?

Sony Wega Triniton KV-32FS100 TV

For the last week my TV has been going to a black screen for 10 seconds or so then the picture returns. It has been continual. Last night it stopped going to black screen, but now the standby light flashes 5 consecutive times and the color went haywire. A lot of red and everything that is suppose to be black is green.

I did a soft and hard reset with no success. What's wrong and is it worth fixing? Bought new in November 2002.

It is TV problem in Tuning section hardware.

That would depend upon the number of blinks and the specific model number. I am guessing that the model number is KV-32FS100. What is the blink count?

The 6 blinks indicate a loss of horizontal and could ba a bad capacitor or bad jungle IC. I'll look up the part numbers anbd designations for you.
