Top 20 Sony DVP-NS50P DVD Player - Page 8 Questions & Answers

I think it's more possible that the blank disc that you use to record the videos is not good enough. You could try some other blank discs such as Verbatim discs that are popular for its guaranteed quality. And make sure you choose the type of dvd that is designed for recording. You could also try Leawo DVD Creator which can burn videos to DVD without waiting for a long time of recording.

You have this backwards. The applicable code would be in the URC, if it is compatible.

if possible. reinstall your vcr code in your existing remote.
consider using another remote [ set to your vcrs code ] -- remotes sometimes low cost at dollar / thrift stores.

Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try

I am no expert on such things but I suspect the guy at the repair shop has given you an "everyman" answer because they probably haven't given your vcr more than a cursory check and aren't really interested in repairing it and wanted to discourage you without actually telling you to take it away. Your vcr is quite old and undoubtedly full of real engineering complexity including (probably) some internal mechanical switching. Repairs will likely require above average skill and experience and the resulting cost is likely to be more than the machine is worth if any needed specialised parts are still available.

A player with certain region code but not a region free player will only play discs from certain regions. A region 2 player can only play region 2 discs. So if you get a discs with certain region codes, you could get a disc copy without region code and then you could play it on your player. You could use Leawo DVD Copy to get this kind of copy.

Have you made sure the appropriate signal source is properly connected? Could it be you have selected an invalid input source? Use your remote to cycle through the Input options. Wait 5 - 10 seconds on each option to see if a picture appears.

If the TV has HDMI inputs then it will work. You will need a wifi to connect firestick to Amazon. You will need Prime to access Amazon movies.

The connection will depend on the stations in your area. Connect the antenna to the lowest RF (coaxial) connector labeled VHF/UHF if you want to watch only the low-power NTSC (analog) stations directly from your antenna. Use the Aux RF connector (upper-most RF connector) if you use the RF out from a digital (ATSC) to analog converter box and don't plan to watch the low-power stations in your area. (If you use the component video output of a converter box, ignore the RF connections.)

If you plan to watch the low-power stations and use a converter box, connect the antenna to the VHF/UHF connector. Connect a second coaxial cable to the To Converter RF connection and connect this to the Antenna In on the converter box. Take a third coaxial cable and connect this to the Antenna Out on the converter box and to the Aux RF cable input on the TV. Press the ANT button on the original remote to switch between the converter box set to channel 3 or 4 and the low-power stations. Remember to change channels with the converter box remote for the ATSC channels. Note: the converter box is used like a cable box with some scrambled channels.

Sony has the documentation for the KF-50WE620 on the product support page: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/televisions-projectors/kf-50we620#manuals . The link to the owner's manual is currently https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/W000/W0005867M.pdf . See page 29 for the start of the antenna connections.

I hope this helps.
