Hi...It sounds like the panel was damaged when it was removed or replaced, I don't think this is a timing board issue. I've had this happen as well in our shop, no real reason for it, on a few sets like this I located the issue to a COF but unfortunately that's not something we can replace as I don't have a million dollar machine to do it
Remote codes are purely based on the make of the television and it is irrelevant what the remote is. However, I would say that no one these days buys universal remotes. You buy a Facsimile Remote which is an exact copy of the original.

Error 6 means the line speed cannot run at the HD line speed required by the game.
Reduce the line/frame rate of the game and try again. If the PS4 won't play at a slower refresh rate, that is it, nothing can be done to the TV.
need service manual to determine the fault code usually by counting the blinks normally the blink should pause to let you know the count the look at the symptom on manual.

I am guessing that your DVD player could be broken and the laser part that reads the disc's is also not working too and the disc drive is also broken. The disc drive and everything that is attached to the disc drive needs to be replaced all together.

If the board number is the same, yes you can use it. The likely issue is whether the board is new or taken from a scrapped set and whether it is returnable.

It could be a problem with the power supply for your TV and a bad power supply too. You would have to have a TV repair person to take a look and see what the problem is with the TV.
