Hi
i have a macbook air
Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time you are viewing this. I have the cause to your problem, but you won't like the outcome of it. In order to make music transactions from your PC to your Sony Walkman NW-E507, "SonicStage" software must be installed on your computer. Unfortunately, this software is not supported by any Macintosh OSs. You have a Macbook air computer, which means it won't work properly on your computer. The software is only supported by Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 & 2005, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Millennium Edition and Windows 98 Second Edition. It doesn't even support Windows Vista or Windows 7. The only solution to give you here is to either find another MP3 player that supports Mac OSs or get a another laptop that supports those Windows OSs listed above. I'm so sorry for my incovienient solution, but it had to be brought to attention so you will know. Sorry for the incovienience and thank you for taking the time to view my solution and choosing FixYa as your one-stop place to find solutions to your problems. Have a nice day, afternoon or night.
Well the thing is i
Well this can be of many reasons:
The music your putting in the player are not supported by the player itself, You need to make sure the format of the music file is mp3, not wave or wma or anything else!
to do that right click on the file and click properties, or just read the extension of the file, for example
Tiesto.mp3 ot Tiesto.wma , the extension is .mp3 and .wma
The other reason is the file system of the device is corrupted!
To check it, u need to right click on the device name in My computer, and choose properties, and check if the device is what it claims to be on its manual, for example if u know its 1Gb, u should see the 1Gb or less free space in its properties.
If Yous see less, u need to format the device, WARNING: you will loose all data after format.
Reply with more information if nothing helped.
