Power light blinks yellow

This question was asked before :) The most common issue for this model is the lamp.If you never replaced the lamp this is the best place to start. They usually last 2-4 years. The original one in the TV can last up to 7 years.

Yellow blinking light

Panasonic HDTV are some of the best. It is very rare when a part in this TV set goes out. The most common issue is the lamp. A ballast board may also go bad with time but it is very unlikely. If you never replaced the lamp before that is the first place to start or if its around 3 years old.

the filter will need to be cleaned and if the set still shuts down then I would suspect the fan may need to be cleaned and possibly replaced.

Panasonic 521LCX16

I had the same problem with a Toshiba DLP rear projection. It sounds like the ballast. I replaced mine myself and now it works perfectly. Cost was about $160-ish. Easy job thanks to diagrams and photos online.

I need to replace the

Hi:
On most televisions you can not just replace the HDMI input terminal you will have to replace the entire video/audio input board assembly. I have tried to look up the board but this part is part of the Main Tuner unit and is only avaiable if you replace the entire main Tuner/CBA.

Hello
As an electrician you can get me well. The fault must be of some loose soderings in the power supply regulator board itsef. As you know, most of the components in the power regulator board will heat up during working. Repeated heating and cooling will make the solder points of the terminals of h Hi-Watt resistors and transistors and ICs. Just look into the power board for any loose solder points. As you know, it will be difficult to locate the exact faulty solder points, as they will be microscopically small sometimes. So do, as we electronic technicians do in service field. Just resolder most of the suspected solder points by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge short in between adjecent solder terminals. Check the ON/OFF switch also. They are all of [DPST] type. If any one pole will get a loose in contact, the set will stop occationally, as when the set takes much current according to the brightness of pricture. I hereby attach the the picture of your TVs power board too. OK.

I need to find out

If it is (as it appears to be), an older style rear projection set, it doesn't have a user replaceable bulb. If the problem is with the "bulb" it is actually 3 CRTs, similar to old style "picture" tubes and they are not replaceable without special equipment and training... sorry.

Chage lamp on Pt-43lc14-K

On the front, under the screen there is a large plastic cover. The far right side of the cover has the black decals "HDTV 1080i" and "VIVA bb3 sound" on it. There aren't any screws holding it on, just pressure snaps. Pull the sides of it off gently and the three or so foot long panel will come loose. You'll see a black plastic panel now with two doors, one in the middle and one on the left of the middle door. The one on the left has a white lamp warning label decal and a black screw holding it in place. Remove the screw and take off the door. Inside is the lamp housing. Some models have a a screw on the right side of the black plastic housing, holding it in place. Take out that screw and pull the housing directly out toward you. You now have the lamp housing. If you are replacing it with a new lamp and housing just push the new on into place and reassemble, you're all done. If you are replacing just the lamp, you have a little more disasembling to do. But its not hard. If you need further help, post a comment and I'll send pictures. Good Luck.
