TV shut off and cannot turn back on
If your tv is around 2-4 yrs or used 6000-8000 hrs, never replaced the lamp before it could be time to replace it.The other most common failure is the board that powers the lamp, which is called the ballast. When its bad it will make a clicking sound or like wanting to turn on.The part # for your lamp is TYLA1000 you can find it here:http://www.discount-merchant.com/Panasonic-TY-LA1000-Lamp-DLP-TV-bare-lamp-p/panasonic-ty-la1000-lamp.htm Good luck and God bless you!

We just put a new lamp in our panasonic 50 inch
You need to reset the lamp timer.
Wait for the warning to disappear, Press and hold the volume - (down) on TV and hit split/play or PIP on remote, release all buttons and wait about 10 seconds and that is it.

Says lamp problems
Without more information it is going to be hard to help you. I assume you mean the TV has a warning of lamp problems. Means you need to replace the lamp. Go to
www.partstore.com and put in your sets information. You should be able to find the lamp you need. Get it. Your owners manual should tell you how to replace or at least where the lamp housing is. Open the housing, remove the old lamp, install the new lamp, close properly and you should be good to go. Let me know how it works out.

Panason PT-50LC13 TV won't come on, light blinks green then red
Ballast failure is more that likley the problem. Is the lamp light blinking,...once every 5 seconds? Discontinued part and can only be purchased used or rebuilt. Rebuilt units are available, check Ebay. Have a service type person confirm problem before throwing good money after bad!

Trouble with tv coming on to long and new bulb didn't work
Is the lamp light blinking twice every 5 seconds or once every 5. Once every 5 sec. lamp failure,...twice every 5 sec.. ballast or thermal fuse. The ballast is discontinued and must be rebuilt or purchased used,.....try Ebay. NO TV REPAIR SHOP IS GOING TO HAVE THE BALLAST! They may be prudent enough to check into and find the rebuild kit for the ballast. FYI a rebuilt ballast costs around $175.00 ,....the rebuild kit costs anywhere from $12.00-$55.00

Panasonic pt-50lc13 it just will not turn on,but
Is the lamp indicator light flashing? A new lamp may not solve the problem. The known problem with lamp failures is poor voltage output from the ballast,.. a problem Panasonic refuses to correct and they decided to no longer provide the repair part through their supplier in an attempt to sweep this problem under the rug.
Lamp light flashing once every 5 seconds or twice every 5? Twice every 5 seconds,....lamp failure, once every 5 seconds,...ballast or thermal fuse failure. You have a lamp, ballast or thermal fuse problem. The ballasts are a discontinued part and can only be purchased used at approx. $225.00 or rebuilt for around $175.00 less any service charges to diagnois and repair.

Where is the filter on a panasonic rear projection
On the 50" pt-lc13 there are two behind the front center cover. They are foam type filters for the projection engine. Remove front deco panel then, the two screws on the center panel,..you will see them. They are meant to be cleaned with the projection engine out of the unit during professional service..Not easy to get too and they do get clogged.
