How old is this tv?<br />Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?<br />I think your tv needs lamp replacement.<br /><br />

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics’ and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Did you reset the lamp timer?

You need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you can find. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!!

pull the front grill off {it snaps on/off} and remove the screw hold the lamp door replace lamp ty -la 1000

So you kept having a lamp warning light and you ignored it? then most likely it is the bulb.

Replace the bulb and clean the filters.

Yes,it will resolved ur tv picture issues.This tv the projection lamp has not been replaced at least 1 1/2 or 2 years right?The tv on an in used at 4 or 5 hours a day right? The projection lamp life span are over.Sometimes the Ballast board have to be replaced too.This Ballat board it to help to ignite the projection lamp.

The blinking LED under the word LAMP is there to notify you that the bulb that is providing the light on your tv has died and must be replaced.

The sound is generated by the power source, it's in protected mode - it has almost shutdown itself to protect itself against the overstress caused by the failed bulb.

I would invest in a ballast rebuild and then a lamp, in that order.

You must remove the plastic cover from the front and just left of center there is a panel covering the lamp with a single screw. Under that the lamp is also held in with a single screw. Pull on the handle firmly to remove lamp. Replace with TY-LA1000 bulb.

There was a recall for this TV's ballast. You need to rebuild the current ballast and may possibly have to order a new lamp.
