its power transistor is burnt, get a new one cheaper than repair it..

R832 is a 8.2MEG 5% 3/4 watt resistor
R7060 & R7066 are both .27 ohm 5% 1watt resistors,
You can get the full set of panasonic resistors from www.tvrepairworld.com under the Panasonic repair kits its listed as the PT47WXC43 Resistor Kit that kit also fits the WX52 and WX42 models panasonics.

the cause is either a bad component in the power supply unit or if the lamp has a problem which cause an error detected by the main board.

Let me ask you an important question to resolve what I think your problem is:

Do you see a narrow band of light from top to bottom but no picture?

Does it take it a minute or so and is just to the right of center on the screen? It can be towards the far right---Is this what you are dealing with?

I presume model number is correct---with sound after about 2 minutes if you see a faint band of white noise top to bottom to the right of the center of the screen (easy to miss) C509 is bad.

BLINKING RED LIGHT IS ERROR CODE.

1. Unplug set for a few minutes.

2. Plug back in and turn on.

3. When red power light starts blinking--COUNT THE BLINKS.

4. THREE BLINKS, pause, THREE BLINKS (ETC) IS SHORT PROTECTION AND A DO IT YOURSELF repair for some people. I have complete instructions for this repair.

5. 5 blinks, pause and 5 blinks etc is short on 140 volt line and while not as easy as 3 blink error code it points to places to look at.

A suggestion here--the fact you have sound is a good sign.This set was prone to one fairly simple problem----If you turn it on and after a minute or so (sound is there) you see a faint band of white or odd noise on the screen, usually to the middle or right side of the screen (hard to see) you have a bad cap and I can tell where it is and what its value is and how to get at it and replace it---less than a 5 dollar part--but you must let me know if you see the faint band top to bottom after a minute or two.SD TECHThis part is c509 and is marked on the board---it is a .47 microfarad cap at 200 or plus volts and many times the brown cap will have a crack in the side (not always) but if you have the band of noise it is the problem.There is right and wrong way to get at it to replace if if it is bad.This is what the board (right side view and on right side as seen from rear of set looks like.)

yes and also possibly the low ohm resistors. You can get the PT53WX53 convergence kit which fits your model from www.tvrepairworld.com which has the 2 ICs and associated resistors plus the CD with repair instructions.

IC4511 has failed on the DG board replaing the DG board as a unit i the only way to fix the issue. The DG board isnt serviceable
