There is a mechanical adjustment on the tubes themselves when it was dropped it could have knocked it out of alignment, or the Convergence ICs are bad with is a common problem with CRT projection tvs.
Mechanically adjusting the tubes can be tricky I wouldn't suggest working on it unless you have some kind of experence with tvs. But if you do adjust the red and blue to the green.

those are the convergence feed resistors. # blinks on a panasonic means convergence IC failure. You will need to replace the two stk392-110 convergence ICs and the six resistors. You can get replacement ICs and resistors at the following link.

If the digital convergence module is defective, it will not cause R7013 to burnt again. I would suggest to check the solder joints on pins # 12, 13 and 14 to make sure there isn't any solder bridging causing the new resistor to burn.

Do you have any larger speakers close to you tv. Or any magnets been neer it. If you unplug it for a while the tv should have remove the rainbow

just a regular solder Iron will do just unsolder the old resistor and solder in the new one

you need to get new board ..........because fixing will be very complicated and it will also be expensive ......

you haven't said what the problem was or is?

just check the fuse it might have been blown.....also how old is you tv ?

i think its not necessary to replace the bulb, based on what you have said that the T.V will work when you slap it on the top of the screen. the problem i guess is there is cold solder or loss connection on the CRT board or somewhere in the video or chroma section...

Your model will not work with STK392-115 in fact I have never heard of those ICs.

Did you replace the convergence resistors also? Thats most likely the problem as often the resistors need replacement as well.

hi there, your problem does sound like the IC's or IC has gone bad, before you change them check the solder connections. If they are ok then the ic.s need changing, do both as the other one may fail shortly, they are usually STK392-110 but check the number on the ic's to be sure. then do the alignment that covers the whole screen, sometimes you get lucky and dont have to go through the fine adjust. hope this helps.

I can't imagine how you would have enough electrical contact on the STK110s without soldering them in place, so I would think you need to solder them before testing further. Running the TV without them soldered in place and properly heat-sinked could cause additional damage to the TV and/or other components.

You will have to unsolder the resistor and lift one side out of circuit. The convergence resistors are usually located right next to the Ics and there should be nummerous that are all identical with the same color bands or markings.

did you check the convergence feed resistors? its not uncommon for a few of those to go open when the ICs go out.

My panasonic projection tv's converge does not get fixed. does any one has solution.

I had the same problem with my t.v. and I had a t.v. repair shop tell me I need to replace the High Voltage Power Supply and the Deflection Circuit.
