The fx will stop working intermittently on my mackie cfx16, what could be the cause?

First thing to do is get a can of contact cleaner. Take off the knobs and spray it into the reostats below. Spray into all the switches and even into the sliders. Move everything back and forth - 0 to 10 (to clean them). If we're lucky, that will fix it. Good Luck

I have a Mackie 1604 vzl pro mixer. It has two weak channels and a non working channel. Could give some tips on what I should look for when open up the unit?

First, unless you are a trained or self-taught audio technician, don't attempt to repair the unit yourself. Let the professionals repair it. You can damage it beyond repair if you don't know what you're doing. Non-working channels are caused either by bad connections, bad solder joints or a dead IC op-amp. The causes of weak channels can be more challenging to track down. I'd suspect bad connections, dirty controls or connectors.

MACKIE DLM 12. TURN ON, DISPLAYS "VOLTAGE", AND THERE IS NO SOUND

Glenn, Does it say 'overvoltage', or simply 'voltage'? For the clearest result brother, contact Mackie - 1-800-898-3211 is their tech line - they're super cool - I just always picture the guys at Mackie sitting around reading comic books and shooting guns into the air. good luck!

I own a mackie MR8 , suddenly one of my pairs I can't hear except the High only no low I change the cables but the problem is still Can you tell me what shall I do Or which part is damaged?

I think you mean No Lows, but if you don't have the solid lows your issue may be a blown sub speaker. check the large speaker with a direct signal if it does nothing that's your issue if it is working then your main amplifier board needs a check. with these separate components your best bet is finding the defective part, one of my Mackie's went silent once I replaced the speaker, Hope this helps.

I have a Mackie ProFX22 and when I solo the "rude solo" LED turns on. I have checked every signal and none are soloed. Also only the left meter shows anything. What is causing the "rude solo"?

The "rude solo" wil only flash if something is soloed. You need to check again as there is STILL something soloed. The left meter is because that is showing the channel that is being soloed. Once you unsolo everything, the meters wil display full left and right as usual.

How do I hook up my Alesis Microverb III effect to Mackie CR1604VLZ and allow maximum aux sends for monitors ?

Hi, What you need to do is connect (for example" Aux 1 send from the desk to the Left Input of the alesis. Then connect the Left and right output form the Alesis to Auxilery return 1 and 2. You can just use the left ouput and use aux return 1 if having mono effects is ok.

Mackie SR24.4 VLZ pro.. The light lamp stopped working, bought a new one, still doesn't work. WHY

It's probably not getting power to the lamp connector. Get a voltmeter and check it.

Mackie thump powered speaker. Traced AC to rectifier, no Dc at out put ,nouthing,? Power rectifier replace but look at regulators as source?

These must be one of the most fault prone speakers ever made. Disconnect the power supply from the amp and see if you can get it working then connect it back up but don't hold your breath, they regularly fail taking out the output stage which in turn takes out the PSU so check the amp with a limited and robust PSU or use a variac on the mains to test.

I want to use theMackie as a sub mixer into a powered "all in one" Peavy mixer, where do I come out of the Mackie into one of my powered mixer line inputs?

Take the main outputs into a stereo input (or a pair of mono inputs) on the Peavey - without knowing which Peavey I cannot tell you further info re set-up but as you'll be sending line level signal you'll need to back off the gain on the channels you input to on the Peavey
